The Mesa State Indoor Triathlon this past weekend was a blast!! Be sure to put the 2nd Annual event on the books for March of next year.

The back squat. Very nice Katie!

Four weeks left on the Paleo Challenge and it is anybody’s game. The accountability of turning in a weekly food log has really thinned the pool of finalists. If you have been consistently turning your logs in, keep it up!! You’re doing great!

This Saturday we will have a fun workout at 9am and a Paleo Potluck at 10am. Bring in your goodies to share!

We are kicking off another round of the 5/3/1 Strength cycle this week. Most lifts will occur on T/Th and are to be done post-WOD. Enter your current 1RM’s here: CFJStrength5.3.1, and bring your sheets to the gym. You will only need weeks 1-4.

WOD

Wittman

Seven rounds for time of:
1.5 pood Kettlebell swing, 15 reps
95 pound Power clean, 15 reps
15 Box jumps, 24″ box

U.S. Army Sergeant Jeremiah Wittman, 26, of Darby, Montana, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, based out of Fort Carson, Colorado, was killed on February 13, 2010, when insurgents attacked his unit with a roadside bomb in Zhari province, Afghanistan. He is survived by his daughters Miah and Ariauna, wife Karyn, siblings Robert H., Charity, Jenell, and Natasha, father Robert, and mother Cynthia Church.

  1. Does she give free lessons? Tough workout tonight!!! My was hard enough; Hats off to Thom who went even an extra mile tonight on the clean weight.

  2. I didn’t mean “my” was hard enough, I know this is a PG site, I meant my workout was hard enough me at Rx.

  3. Katie–You’re a rockstar! Lookin’ great and very grown up!

I miss you all this week!!! Apparently missed a fun event this weekend! I’m chilin’ up in Telluride, I’m spending some time training with the CF gym up here at almost 10,000 feet–if you get a chance I recommend you come up here and rock a session with them–great crew!
