Awwww….. Happy Birthday Chad!!!

Congrats to Thom and Chad for successfully completing their CrossFit Level I Course at CrossFit Verve this weekend!

Chad’s B-day WOD-

37 Squat Cleans (135/95)
37 Box Jumps (30/24)
37 Burpees

Thanks to Ryan, our first CrossFit Sports Series event is on the books!! Woo Hoo!! Well, first four events… really. Join us for some Cyclocross action!

The first race will be Nov. 5 at Long Family Park. There will be three more races after that… Nov. 19 @ Canyon View Park, Dec. 3 @ Riverbend Park in Palisade, and Dec. 17 @ Canyon View Park.

If you are interested in participating but would like a little more info and perhaps some pointers/tips, Ryan is offering up a Cyclocross ‘How-To’ this Saturday, Oct. 8 at Riverbend Park in Palisade. We will meet at CrossFit Junction at 10am (after 9am class) and carpool out. All you need is a mountain bike and a helmet! He will explain how it all goes down, we will do a trial run and then perhaps even a “race”. A few of us did it last year and it’s a blast!!
