Lauren demonstrating the top of an American Kettlebell Swing, our swing of choice.  It wins the battle thanks to doubling the range of motion, producing a higher power output (even with less load), and allowing for a greater rate of repetition which is directly related to intensity.  A swing that covers half this distance is often referred to as a Russian KB Swing.
