3 Rounds for time:
7 Clean and Jerks (135/95)
14 KB Swings (53/35)
21 Double Unders

Here is Ryan, 9 short months ago, doing his pull-ups with the help of the tan and the purple bands. Just 2 days ago, Ryan completed a workout with 60 pull-ups and blazed through them band-free….. Look how far you’ve come man!! Keep it up!

There are only 3 days left in September….. Can anyone conquer the September Challenge?! Some of you have set Sep. 30/Oct. 1 as deadline dates for your short-term goals on the Goal Board. How close are you to checking off your goal?

It’s looking like this is the last week for the Tue/Thu 1:30pm class…. not a crowd favorite, but we certainly didn’t expect it to be…. Any other class times you would like to see added to the schedule instead?

  1. Great job Ryan!!

How about a Tue/Thur morning class? I know I’d come to the Tues class for sure, Thurs is still hit & miss for us.

  2. Great job Ryan, you have been working hard & it shows… hats off to everyone who drank the water in the gym last night!!!!! It was (P.R.) city….. I watched record after record get set, super fun to watch…

  3. Ahhhh….. the old gym……. memories……. I remember when the wet grass behind the gym presented its own unique challenges for 400m runs………..

Thanks Amy….. I wouldn’t say that I blazed through the pull-ups on Monday, but I was never able to do a single pull up ever before I joined crossfit. Practice plus positive reinforcement (lots) equals desirable results. Crossfit is addicting…………

Hope to see everyone tonight for extra credit class.

  4. Unfortunately I can’t even make a regular class today much less an extra credit class :-) Boo to work & end of quarter!

  5. If anyone else is interested I would love to have a 6:30pm class one night during the week as I work 10hr shifts and don’t finish work till 6pm. If there is no interest then that’s fine! Thanks, Clare

  6. I also feel Ryan has really come a long way and developed significantly. I really enjoyed his and Amy’s face-off the first night of the team workouts. I say we keep him around, if not for anything else, just for the fact that he will occasionally post something hysterical.
